Hello. My name is Aksel. I’m a UX designer with a strong passion for accessibility.

I started making games because I believe games is something everyone should be able to experience, no matter who they are.

As a UX designer I focus on making a cohesive experience. I work cross-disciplinary between the creative teams where I focus on information architecture, user centered design and accessibility. Whether it’s technical implementation, UCD, wireframes or user research, I help the team while always having the end user in mind. I rapidly prototype solutions to problems that we then iterate on and learn from.

As an accessibility manager I help educate and drive the topic of accessibility forward. I have over ten years experience working with accessibility outside of the games industry where I help create prostheses and tools together with and for people with physical disabilities to help them in their daily life. This experience has helped me learn and create accessibility solutions in other areas, such as vision, hearing and cognition for the games I’ve worked on.

I’m currently working as a UX & accessibility designer at Mojang Studios.
